Graphite drawing on Arches 300gsm paper - Acid Free . 


WIP. Beckie ( Commission) Just made a start and first layer applied. Beckie will be quite a lot darker as I progress.

Finished Drawing of Adrien. 

Reeves water color paper 300gsm. A4 size.


Still a few hours to work on this yet.

Tux WIP

Tux 12 x 16 on Arches 300gsm paper. 

Prismacolor Pencils/ 

Tux is now finished and awaiting approval from my client. 








Just need to work on the body now.   The head is finished.  



Darkened area each side the muzzle and worked on the side fur and the blended a little white fur. Finished the blending on the tongue.  



Still more work to be done on the Neck/Collar and the Body.   



A little more done on Tux.   Still more layering on the head and the tonhue.  I should be moving down on the body in a couple of days.

A lot more work to be done yet on Tux.   More layers of colored pencil to do on the fur..  more detail on the eyes.    Materials.    Prismacolor pencils.

This is a gift to family "The Walkers"   

I didn't do a WIP as this is a surprise gift.  

Materials uses: 

General pencils that I am trying for the first time.   (Still prefer Staedtler)

Pencils - 2H 2B F 3B graphite  and Primo Elite Grande #5000 organic black. 

Tortilions, Stumps, electric eraser, Q tips, Tuff stuff eraser stick, Tombo =Mono Zero eraser, Chamios, Felt piece,    I will post a photo of all the materials I use.

Arches 300gsm Paper.  Size- 18" x 18"

I used lots of tools on this one,    Staedtler Pencils. F, HB, 2H, 2B, 3B, 4B.

small pieces of cut up eraser (sharp corners) for highlighting. Tombow erasera pointed and chizelled .Kneaded erasers, Tortillions,Chamios, Electric eraser.  Large brush for a softer finish. and the usual graphite.eraser bits brush for keeping the paper clean.

I have done a little more tweaking on this and faded out the edges to soften and bring out the features more.
